The Dell Latitude E6400 can be a solid, well-built machine that looks and is effective. The backlit keyboard is a very nice touch along with the fundamental (stock) screen is great for everyday use. The keys on the keyboard are resilient and comfortable to wear. There are 4 USB ports (two about the left and a couple on the proper). One in the USB port doubles as a possible e-SATA port, which can be nice! There is a VGA port for the left, plus a display port about the back. The right with the machine carries a fire wire port plus a smart card port on the machine. The screen is sturdy and you have two practical internet connected computers that is a nice touch to open Solid. The touchpad works well as well as the buttons are easy to push. I have the web cam option that works well for video conferencing. There is of course a network port on the back along using the standard microphone and headphone jacks on the proper. Overall this is often a great laptop and I will recommend to others. Just tired when you're getting the device and make certain everything works.
